You miss the point IMO,
The saying: Live by the sword, die by the sword "
is a double edged sword in that it applies equally
to Israel as well as to Palestine and for that matter
to the Ukraine as it does to Russia.

The obvious answer is peaceful negations with a win-win
In the Israeli situation its:
-A Palestinian State
-A Peaceful Israel
