unfortunately for aar the last time they got to a decision to mine stage was when metal prices were in the toilet and funding was hard to come by. cant remember the wording used but it was along the lines of marginal or not robust enough under the circumstances.

so they decided to keep drilling and increase the resource and in doing so have changed from underground zinc/copper to open pit copper then underground copper/zinc. metal prices, especially copper are back at their highs and more money floating about for funding options.

they just need to speed things up before the current sentiment changes.
