2014 - Crimea voted to join the Russian federation. Perhaps you have memory loss but why would Zelensky try to retake crimea if it was not lost to the Russian Federation?

insurgency not a civil war and ....... there was no unconstitutionality

unilateral decisions by russia about sovereignty unrecognised by the wider world are menaingless - russia holds Crimea by force of arms alone with zero legitimacy
