No-one said it would be a disaster; try not to put words in other people’s mouths. It’s simply been pointed out that this isn’t the type of partner that holders here were hoping for.

If it was, ATL would’ve been mentioned here at some point. But they weren’t; it was all about Tesla, Panasonic, LG Chem, Samsung, SK On, etc.

Any offtake is positive, but let’s not kid ourselves. There’s a reason JZ has spent all these years chasing an offtake from a key player in the nascent EV supply chain; that’s where the growth is, with customers chasing large volume.

Conversely, the mobile phone/personal device market is mature for the most part, and only deals in much smaller lithium quantities (when compared to the EV market).
