Israel has achieved it's primary goal in Gaza -- to ethnically cleanse it of Palestinians and render it un inhabitable for them .
There are so few people left there and there is no aid -- no food , medicine, water , shelter.
^The US pier has washed away or sunk with navy ships run aground trying to salvage it -- only half a BILLION dollars down the drain for zero effect. -- What an embarrassment this has been for Biden -- so much so that it will cost him the election without doubt.
The end game is all that remains but Israel will be stopped one way or the other, and Hamas will still exist, Israel will be a political pariah in turmoil and will have to deal with a significant strategic defeat.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert called on Saturday for an end to the “stalling war” in Gaza, stressing that there is no chance “to achieve complete victory or the complete destruction of Hamas,” Anadolu Agency reports.
In an interview with Israeli public broadcaster KAN, Olmert said that “the military operation in Rafah must be stopped.
”He stressed that the “stalling” war in Gaza should be stopped in to make way for the return of hostages.
Olmert said fighting in Gaza “does not serve any interest for Israel, but rather serves Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and some extremist members of his government.”
Nato members are also demanding an end without an Israeli victory
Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib called for the implementation of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ’s decision ordering Israel to immediately stop its military operations in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.In a post on her X account on Friday, Lahbib wrote: “The @CIJ_ICJ orders Israel to stop its military offensive in Rafah. calls for immediate implementation of the decision.The violence and human suffering in Gaza must stop. We call for a ceasefire, the release of the hostages and negotiations for two States.”
Spain’s foreign minister warned Israel on Saturday that the International Court of Justice’s (ICJ) ruling requiring Israel to “immediately halt its military offensive in Rafah” must be complied with.“The ICJ’s provisional measures, including the cessation of Israel’s offensive in Rafah, are mandatory,” Jose Manuel Albares said in a post on X.“We demand it’s implementation,” he added.
More to the point though, Nato members are also realising what I have said all along -- Israel will not stop until forced to.Let's be clear. As the ICJ orders Israel to stop its offensive in Rafah, Israel intensifies its attacks on it,” Francesca Albanese said on X.
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in its latest ruling ordered Israel to immediately halt its military offensive in Rafah, a city in southern Gaza where more than 1.5 million displaced Palestinians had sought refuge.
“The news I am receiving from the people trapped therein are terrifying,” she said.
“Be sure: Israel will not stop this madness until WE make it stop,” she added.
