This is a US facility. ATM works a little differently there than on ASX.

They are a very useful way for a company to sell stock AT THE TIME ITS MOST CONVENIENT TO THEM ... and its done over time (not al at once like a capital raising) and at the prevailing market price. So by design, it should have less of an impact on stock price than a captial raising. And its "optional" ... just because you have it doesn't mean you have to use it.
