According to your logical genius Russians fighting Russians using Russian weapons in Russia is not a civil war but Ukrainians fighting with Russians in Ukraine is a civil war. Clearly that makes perfect logical sense.

And just FYI a meeting that happened several years after Putin invaded in 2014 was not the cause for of Putin's 2014 invasion. The cause for Putin's 2014 invasion was Putin's failure to politically take control over Ukraine with his bribe to Yanukovych to take Ukraine away from the EU association agreement.
