You are looking at this quite simplistically, so what you charge it from future e-waste in terms of solar panels, wind power, these have to be manufactured too and disposed of. Not to mention the e-scooters, vehicles and batteries that will end up in waterways and landfill. There is no real simple argument to say one is better than the other and many still say Hydrogen is the answer.
