BGA's priority must be to finalise the acquisitions it previously made.
If I correctly read your post, you sensibly don't want the Board to go off on an ego-driven frolic unless ROIC is almost immediately more than internal benchmarks.
I see your point, but provided the price is not outrageous, BGA should repurchase the licence to use the 'Bega' name from Fonterra.
If i ran BGA, I wouldn't sell Vegemite and its peanut butter brands as these are mostly icons of the Oz retail scene.
