Yes Epenerra was one of the targets, but not the only one.
They were also targeting the same depth as Heron 1.Wet gas

Epenerra level is high CO2 and It did in fact did have a flow rate of 6mmcf/d of dry gas and is the top 50m of a 250m gas column.
It is thought to have 5.5tcf in the Epenrra level.

6mmcf/d is to low for production, but Mr Hart talked about a vertical well head which would increase the flow rate by 10 times 60mmcf/d

The would be targeted for this is the TSMLNG.

The farm out is only for LNG, so the target for this is below were the well collapsed, just below the Epenarra level.

Why did they move onto Artemis. Who knows. My thoughts are that they thought it the quicks way to monetize an asset given the closeness to potential partners and producing fields.
Any success here would give MEO a very good chance of being able to help fund Tassie.

Possible plan? Total guess.

1/ Get a Artemis up

2/ Farm in to NT/P68. If success, partner helps set up TSLNG plant.

3/ Use new found wealth to set up TSMLNG and develop Blackwood + ......

I thought people would like to know what Credit Suisse thought of the value of the gas fields.
Despite if you think Evans Shoal is boring or not, it will be a vital cog in MEO's TSMLNG Plans and should be watched closely.
