was designed in the 60's and first flown in the 70's operationaly .....BUT , has had many upgrades .....still the mainstay of several countries Aparently operationaly very sound - while certainly not the benchmark .
the MIG has been advertised around.....but not one country has chosen it has some good features I gather - but some areas of comncern too .
I don't have the expertise to evaluate the two - just read what others have written .
