They would have to receive and analyse the sample. Then schedule into their normal production run. Pull the components made from the sample to the side and do some further testing. Perhaps also sending to their customers for further validation.
All of that could easily take 2 - 3 months I imagine, and then there is the final negotiations for an order.
May not be quick - but not so far away.
