Government subsidies have the underpinned the model of fossil fuels for its entire history.
Unfortunately, the narrative from vested fossil fuel industries is that solar and wind require government subsidies and support.
The evidence (data) is the level of subsidy provided to get the alternative energy sources up to a sustainable level pale into consideration with the decades and decades of government support for fossil fuels.
