Australia has a similar parliamentary system to pretty much every other democracy in the world.
Usually there are 2 major parties, and then you have smaller fringe parties that feed votes into one side or the other.
It is what it is. Imperfect as it is, no one has come up with anything better.
I suggest to you, that you actually have NFI what's going on in Australia and what's really happening is you simply have an unhealthy obsession with running the place down.
