With reference to that Fat Tails investment,’s Hedley Widdup interview last March - largely on N American money seeking Australian gold investments - Hedley called Simon and Spartan the equivalent of a Peter Brock Falcon (Commodore?) that was then running only of six  - of eight - cylinders.

Since then we’ve seen Craig Jones appointed as CFO, Deanna Carpenter appointed as a legal expert to the board and the John Hodder (ie significant holder, Tembo) board resignation
…… Then the  Pepper expansion and an $80m cap raising ..

So how many ‘cylinders’  does all that add up to, I wonder?

And the Westgold/Ramelius news announced to day was surely already *live* to insiders at last Tuesday week’s May 22 Resource Rising Stars event in Melbourne?

And Barry speculated on takeovers citing Westgold, Ramelius and Silver Lake as likely potential candidates?
— Only now Westgold and Ramelius are maybe all tied up with each other?

So does that mean the main potential taker overers (if any) are Silver Lake and unknown N American interests?
