Personally, I think there was too much hot money in the stock pre-announcement and then we didn't get the run they expected. Not helped by very conservative upgrades by analysts. Add that to the risk off day, an unfilled gap and loss in momentum in the SP, we get the ruthless BEOT pushing this down into no resistance.
