The problem arises when you make up objectives and then attribute these objectives to your opponent. That is not objective military analyses, and nobody is fooled except for simple minds like yourself who like to believe what they are told. The Russians have been preparing for this since at least 2014, that's when it started. Demilitarizing Ukraine has become through mission creep a much bigger project of demilitarizing NATO.
