No, you're too blinded by the propaganda of the West to see the obvious. Yes the Taiwanese leadership are puppets of the USA. An overwhelming majority of the Taiwanese want reunification with China. In fact the Taiwan Ruling party suffered a big electoral defeat a year or two ago because they ran on a permanent separation from China policy. Most of Taiwan are ethnic Chinese and are proud of the Chinese achievements and want to be part of it. And yes, Taiwan's main trading partner is China, which is why they ultimately want reunification because that's what business ties do. They bring people together. China doesn't have to invade Taiwan because the expectation of most analysts is that they will reintegrate willingly by 2049.

But America can't allow peace and reintegration between China and Taiwan because it means America will lose its foothold in the region AND it will lose its unsinkable aircraft carrier in the Region. So America is doing everything it can to keep them fighting. That's what America does all over the world and has been doing non stop since WW2. America really is the very worst rogue state on Earth and the greatest threat to world peace and prosperity.
