    The peace offer in 2022 involved Donbass remaining part of Ukraine in return for language rights and Ukraine neutrality (Basically Minsk Agreement + neutrality no NATO).

    Looks like a good offer in hindsight. Perhaps if they wanted the invader to leave they should have been pursued that option? As we know it wasn't Ukraine's choice they followed NATO directive to extend the war.
