I am a simple mum/dad investor and I am here for the long haul. I look at lithium news, demand, short sell etc but I am no expert. But couple of days ago I was looking into Beijing car show.
What struck me is that all the cars are hybrid or full ev. It felt like no one is making diesel or petrol cars anymore. Another thing that I was not aware of is that there are numerous new ev car manufacturing company that have started making ev cars. Xiaomi, Huawei is in partnership with some companies. There are various state owned companies as well.
Such a large scale investment can only go higher and lithium price should go higher
So my take on this is, short sellers are trying to destroy lithium miners. They have their own agenda. They are even going after US based big miners as well.
