Not necessarily. I can't mind-read the Big Fish, but one of their thoughts might be:
"hmm, nice product. Hey you guys & gals in our R&D: come up with something as good or better...".
Anteris has not demonstrated that it can find a path to market before the Big Fish overtake DurAvr.
Which of course they will overtake our product, given time.
I'm losing belief in the take-over/merger scenario. And going-it-alone? : never on the cards.
I do not see that my interests and the managements' interest align: they're getting rich(er) now. I'm not.
I haven't bitten the bullet and sold yet: my sentiment remains 'hold'.
Not that I'd recommend holding to anyone: it's just that that's what I'm doing ... for now.
