Mate I think you need to put yourself in the position of those who choose to immigrate here. Imagine if you decided to become a resident in a different country of a different culture to the one you are from. Lets say South Africa for the sake of the example. Would you tend to live among the white population there or the black population there? I think the answer is very obvious? People tend to prefer to be among others who may share similar traits such as culture, values, language, food etc etc. Integration of permanent immigrants is a delusion if you expect it happen on arrival. Of course they tend to search out like minded people in a new land. It's no differtent to the Poms coming to Oz, they also tended to be among other Pommy immigrants.
Integration is generational, and can take decades. Just because they may group together doesn't mean they hate white australia, just means they are in a new country and feel alien to that land and choose to be with people they relate to better. Oz has been multicultural since 1788, and when your ancestors stepped off the boat or the plane they would have gone through a similar adaptation as an Indian stepping off the plane today.
