Seems the whole US auto industry has 2 short years to secure ex China E motor and magnet supply chain - that's without battery related minerals for which majority of lithium is refined in China - how would that be possible - Lynas and Vietnam! That's without wind - they can not even stockpile cheap Chinese supply re ex China - then if EU and UK as expected implement the same or similar tariffs that adds significantly to an existing very low NdPr supply chain. 2 years it's going to be more than interesting.
