Well being one of many (& many) kiwis, like asylum seekers, arriving on our shores, maybe one needs to become accustomed to our way of life & how we treat our politicians.
Our politicians arent gods. We can question aspects of their rule (I mean time in govt). JH is a seasoned career politician. He has seen much much worse than a flying shoe (even from his own party to boot - Andrew Peacock & Jeff Kennett etc).
Yes, those 11 yrs of his reign (time in govt) were good. But those times were good for most countries. There was, afterall, a massive world economic boom. Maybe some are able to drill down on his rule & notice the politicking on human suffering, the participation in stupid wars, the backflip on GST when he said no GST, workchoices, etc.
