In my opinion, the gain of the population growth has been exceeded by the cost to support it.

With respect, and I have nothing against immigrants and other races, our external GDP through exports has grown little from immigration. I base this on the fact the only long term GDP growth through exports has been mining and other commodities still. The bottom line is any structural deficiencies eg. labor market argued in the past, should have been solved by structural solutions not immigration.

The burden on the taxpayer and indirectly mining is becoming too great due to the exploitation of the power empires of govt and the banks that generate little added value from their growth!!
