Stock split makes no difference to a buyer so yes I agree with you we can probably assume they don't have a buyer.

We can probably also rule out a US listing. If a US listing was on the agenda they would have consolidated the stock, not split it.

That leaves the distinct possibility they are preparing for an asx listing (oh dear). Spitting the stock 10 for 1 would make sense if they were listing here.
