They’ll leave once enough momentum has been built up to push a higher SP. The last time shorters were challenged was the Gov announcement.

My guess is once FID is finalised, then the market will see it as a new chapter (phase) for the business, and from there should start seeing this hangout around the 30-40c range, and remain stable and grow through partnership announcements, milestones in construction etc.

ARU is one of those stocks in my portfolio that I just let sit and do its thing. The LT perspective of this stock, in my opinion, is not one to bet against given the green energy push.

Of course shorters, traders etc will do their daily dance, and posters will come to HC to down ramp the stock. One just needs to look at the global picture and ask themselves, what type of world will we be living in from 2030+?

Change is constant and it’s happening all around us. Did people think 10 or 5 years ago we’d be seeing EVs on the roads, to the level we are now? Realistically no, yet look at the number EVs now. Wait till the budget EVs flood the market.

Also worth remembering that Millennials and younger generations are coming into positions of power and overtaking the political landscape. Older generations are being phased out as the years go on.

Millennials, Gen Z etc are more conditioned to vote for policies that favour the environment, green energy, renewables etc. So one can already form a pov on how the political campaigns and policy will be marketed from the next few years.

Investing in ARU isn’t about throwing money into a stock and hoping it doubles your money, or hovers in stagnation at around 20c for the next 10 years. IMO it’s more than that.

Arafura is literally positioned at a time where the world is seeing a shift generational power, electrification of automobiles, green energy transition and geopolitical alliances forming around critical minerals. All while Arafura is at the cusp of finalising funding and starting construction.

Yes, I understand there’s risks in every venture, and Arafura isn’t immune to this. However, I personally believe the above factors are working perfectly to the benefit of the business.

So with all of this, one can only make an assumption as to how high the SP be in 5 years time. Don’t expect this to be an overnight win, however once it starts to fly, it will fly fast.
