it may well be a misappropriation though I think if you actually understood the origins of both the classification of languages, schlozers background and the emergence of the word antisemitic to refer specifically to prejudice against Jews it is not so weird

but of course it is so much easier to blindly pluck something off tte internet to justify a point of view

of course you join a throng of others eager to diminish the meaning of antisemitic. Judeophobe is not an adequate description for prejudice against Jews. That prejudice takes many forms from the relatively “benign “ but hateful act of marking Jewish gravestones with a swastika (an act that has required my family to regularly clean the headstones ) to harassment, bullying, denial of rights, violence and threats and killings

a phobia is an reasonable fear. Acts against Jews are an active decision to externalise an unreasonable hated, distrust or negative belief about Jews

that is much more than a phobia

your intentions may be honourable and at one level you appear to be attempting to be reasonable but the right motives are insufficient in an era where Jews who have absolutely nothing to do with Israel or Netanyahu or Palestine are being targeted with hate

further unless people understand the multiple ways in which prejudice may be expressed there is little hope of combatting it
