"Perhaps a better weighted comment (and fairer for a newbie) from you should say "weigh up the positive and negative comments and do lots of research, especially on previous announcement and then make an informed decision".

and I agree it is a long way to go, still the general trend I believe will be up, and it may retrace a bit on the way.
