My fifth post today
Add to what Labor has done of benefit to people...
Increased pensions in real terms.
Withdrawn from Iraq saving lives and money.
Removed Workchoices to the cheers of most workers.
Delivering an NBN which nearly everyone wants.
Taking refugee children out of detention centres.
Saved us from the worst of the GFC and kept our debt levels the lowest in the western world while presiding over the lowest interest rates in fifty years.
Overseen a BER which has delivered great benefits to 95% of schools and questionable benefits to just 5% of schools.

The only substantial stuff-up was the pink bats and some dishonest private business's caused the trouble there. Plus the original mining tax proposal was over the top.

Add the above to 123enen's list and it gets pretty impressive. And unlike the last Coalition government they have not sold half the National gold reserve at US$250 an ounce only to have it now worth around US$1,000 an ounce. In fact Labor has not sold any gold.

Goodness me all that and Labor does not even get my first preference on polling day.
