1)Sell off? A BESBE before the rigs is even in place. Interesting.
Good to see that even you fall for their games.
Been here long enough to know what they are up too.

2)It's a shame that you have such a low regard for charts.
But if you are a sit and hold guy, guess you don't have too.

3)Had a thought the other day on this matter.
My thoughts were that Cue could not exist with out company's willing to put it on the line like, Woody, Apache and yes even MEO.

4)Cue's a nice safe oiler(as it goes) that is risk adverse.
As we all know, fields dry up, new fields have to come on line other wise no more oiler.
So if you are risk adverse, how do you get new fields on line.
Cue farms them out and lets some one else take all the risk.
    (not knocking it)

5)Cue gave way 60% + of WA 359-360-361 to MEO for the price of 3D surveys on each.
    A similar deal with Apache.
Wood only had to pay $5m for Caterina, with only a commitment to do a 3D some time between 7/10-7/11. Do A exploration well between 7/11-7/12. And then have a think about it (Geological and geophysical study) between 7/12-7/13. Given Woodies new gas deal, Caterina and it's deep water many be on the back burner for a while.
    3-4 Train.(sorry,getting off subject)

6)The point being that IF Cue wishes to be risk adverse, it needs to relay on the ones that are willing take the risk.

7)Cues share price would not be were it is today if it was not for these farm in deals.

8)So it seem very straight indeed to show such contempt for the very company's that carry all the risk so Cue can grow,

9)Yes, I'm sure you only have contempt for MEO.
MEO has to put way more on the line than the others and have bought the partners a great farmee.
And the fact that you have stated here that you wise Artemis to be a dry hole is staggering.

10)Artemis will set Cue up for years to come. They can buy new permits, pay for 3D's and not have to give permits away for next to nothing.

11)So how about we give this stupidity a rest, because I'm sure we could be spending our time better on research than wishing people ill, with their hard earned.

It's time to let this go.

    hey Kiwi...

1)BESBS is buy early sell before spud..
    so there you go...

2)I respect what people can do with them... Phaedrus a poster on another site is a super star... It is a fact that technical analysis can not predict drilling outcomes, so why do posters still use TA as if they are trying to predict the outcome of artemis?
Charting and Fundamental analysis makes the best all round investor...
I am zero chartist, I guess Im not the best investor... because I have missed many trades... like MEO for example..

3)You raise a strong point there... someone has to drill for hydrocarbons... ...
expensive offshore drilling should be left to the majors.. One stuff up for a junior and its game over... big oil can absorb exploration failure, small oilers can not...

    4) yes, NZO, PPP are classic examples of recent oilers who had majorly successful production stage projects who have since failed to capatilise with exploration stage disaster... I called it on PPP, but not on NZO...
but agree with what your saying...

    5) its not giving it away... The return on investment is positive...

    6) CUE has enough risk in other parts of its portfolio...

    7) yeah it wouldnt be as high today, but tomorrow its worth more...
just got to be patient and wait on markets, and derisking of appraisal, development and production stage...

    8) you are welcome to take on all the risk... You are taking a hit for the team... ty...
    business is business...

    9) Sometimes the posters are so mean and nasty its as if they dont deserve it, so that means I dont deserve it
either... I make compelling remarks, and yous just laugh at me anyway...

    10) yes that is the dream, but we are not ready yet, still growing and too small... We are positioning ourselves to make sure of it that we get it right... and without big risks...

    11) At some point you must give up the research,
you have to now sit back and leave this in the hands of the oil gods... and hope they pay you off...
you are absolutely correct about that other stuff
... I will apologise and leave the thread to its own now... But I will just rap it up first...

Yeah it would have been great if CUE hadnt needed to farm out its highly regarded permits...
It has been imperitive for CUE to do so... I say it again, Us juniors can not absorb the huge costs of offshore exploration wells for long if we are to maintain a 'going concern'...we found out last time we went through the ropes with MEO, and that was when it was free carried.... 50 million bucks is alot of money... and even if we did get it off the ground we dont have the know how expertise (like our world class partner), we dont have the capex funding, we would be dilutive and full of debt... and then any problems and we are busto...
It just doesnt work for juniors, its best left to majors while juniors take up small percentages... it will always be like that...At least MEO will go out in a blaze of glory

what sort of company would put its shareholders in the position of going busto if the well misses...
the answer is MEO, and to top it all off, MEO's turned into a mega 250 million cap...
this could be a good signal...
    the market likes Artemis

    who knows really...
I cant predict exploration stage outcomes...
only other stages... so best I remain in control of my own destiny, you do what you want...

and wish you all the best kiwi
    inspite of antagonism...
I leave with respect for you and even Daz...

All I ever done is stand up and defend the things I believe in...

    take care...
