They did pick up a $10bn profit last year.,They do have the ability to raise funds on the market. And of course they can do a cash plus stock offer.
The current MC of ACAD is $2.4 Bn USD and NEU is $1.75bn USD. If ever there was an opportunity for Baker Bros to pounce this is it.
At today’s MC they could take both companies with $6bn USD surplus. I know that won’t buy NEU but it does show that it’s doable. Baker Bros could bundle them up and flip them to BP.
My main point was that this might all be a closer to wrapping up than many might think.
