You are not saying that because he was convicted of some misdemeanor crime with minors, his views on politics and war must be discounted, are you?

You may pass a moral judgement on him but that has nothiing to do with his abilities to comment on politics and war. Agreed?

Regarding Ukraine war, you will recall that everybody was expecting this war to be over in a short period of time. So he is no different than scores of other political commentators and polticians who were making same faulty predictions.

Did Americans win in Iraq? How so? You call it a 'win'?

Putting Scott's future-telling abilites aside, he does pretty good job commenting on Iran and USA, don't you think so?
You might wanna revise your views on Scott, nobody is perfect.
