SLR is busy with RED for a while so maybe not going to go after SPR for a while. Who knows how the WGX and RMS issues will turn out but one thing is they will be quite distracted for a while so a bid coming from either is maybe a low probability for a while. But when the dust settles and if RMS ends up a loser then one cannot rule out a bid by RMS for SPR. If RMS wins and WGX has to drop its KRR bid then it may be a bidder for SPR.
Its all as clear as mud to me being a very fluid situation. MoM guys reckon SPR wants to go it alone and I hope they are right.
While I may be on the wrong path and things may change, I find it reassuring that BGL and DEG are still independent with each having quality projects. Been lots of rumours about DEG being taken out but nothing has happened yet. However never say never as the situation re BGL and DEG may change in a blink of an eye.
