Demand may have been greater southbound but these two Melbourne to Brisbane trains (that may have had some Melbourne-Sydney loading earlier) videod on the NSW Central Coast (i.e. north of Sydney) only respectively have equivalent to 68 TEU (i.e. 68 x 6.1 metre long smaller containers) and 54 TEU:
(the first one is in slow motion because the train is about to stop to be overtaken on the Sydney-Newcastle line north of Gosford NSW):
