Thanks for they wonderful sharing and effort that continues to go on in this thread. I for one learn a lot along the way. Too many of you to mention but stand outs have obviously been Rob, paulbooma, Mitta, et al

Echoing a few others the best way to learn is to also contribute, share and teach where you can Time I practiced what I preach.

This is a 4 year monthly chart I did of PEN using the method of Darryl Guppy's Multiple Moving Averages (MMA). An aspect I have followed for the last couple of years since reading his book "36 Strategies of the Chinese for Financial Traders". A book I highly recommend people read for more reasons than one.

It is amasing what so consistently occurs when the crossing of the short term MA's cross the long term MA's. In either direction the result is almost always confirmed and dramatic, with moves down or up accordingly.

This monthly also displays a clear strong break of a long term down trend. Confirming the Guppy MMA's theory.



I also did a Daily chart but only with the 50, 90 and 200 day MA's. In this case I did so on the PEN thread to clear display a "Golden Cross" that has just occurred with PEN.
