I completely agree with your observations re what should have been done. These things must absolutely be taken seriously, and I wish they were. I have no doubt that it was a botched bunch of actions taken under a degree of duress in a period of chaotic actions. That does not make to excusable. It is not. And I do not like it one tiny bit. And I will be urging the company to up its game accordingly when the opportunity arises, and when I am in possession of a wider set of facts.

However I am assuming, perhaps wrongly, but with some basis, that AKP has been in discussions with ASX over this, and presumably over the overall series of debacles that we as shareholders (or at least those of us with some reason to care) have had to put up with. I am also assuming that ASX has been appraised more fully of the ongoing efforts the company has been pursuing to get its product finished and to market. I also assume that their story has enough merit to at least permit some latitude for understanding.

I repeat for your benefit my assertion that had the product been finished as had been fully expected many of the issues of funding especially would don't have arisen. So neither would the suspension of trading, nor the ongoing input of funds to keep the ship afloat. The AGM would have gone ahead, there would have been no need for an EGM, and shareholders would have been rejoicing at their amazing new product and the reflection this would be having on the share price of AKP. As I have said, were it not for 3 independent failures in producing their wafers, the present situation would be very different. And I would be pleased and counting the increased value of my assets.

But where would that have left you? You say you do not hold, you say you have no sentiment. So you would presumably be no better nor worse off than you have been for the duration of your ongoing commenting on this stock. So would that outcome have made you happier or more frustrated that your haranguing of shareholders with cynical doom and gloom had been proven incorrect?

I for one resent any comparison to supporters of America's Greatest Conspirator. With all due respects, if that cap fits anyone, I suggest the more conspiratorially minded among us that it fits best should be the ones wearing it. Then at least we would know what their aims were.
