I think that is what ultimately cost trump the case.
Firstly it stopped his lawyers targeting the weakness in linking to the second crime.

Secondly, jurors are just people.
If someone is blatantly lying about the obvious to you, you are not going to treat them favorably.

I dont understand trump lying about cheating on his wife by sleeping with a pornstar.
A lot of his supporters find this an admirable trait in him.

I guess trump thought admiting sleeping with a pornstar would cost him more votes than being a convicted felon.


He managed to cover it up in 2016 and gain the presidency, so it was probably worth it.

Is it worth it in 2024?
