No one has made a takeover offer for BRN because it's an unprofitable, speculative company that is yet to prove its commercial worth.
The whole point of acquiring a company is to improve the acquirer's revenue & profit; BRN is clearly not likely to contribute much value in this respect.
BRN needs to prove its worth by becoming profitable before anyone would consider acquiring it.
FYI: if BRN ever received a takeover offer of $1b, it equates to around 53c/share. It will be less after the next LDA drawdown....
