Many of us have been posting for quite a while that the COALition's nuclear ambition was really just a way of extending the life of coal . The build time alone would mean that coal would have to run much longer. lt also means that the renewable rollout would have to be halted to allow for nuclear baseload to fill the gap. Littleproud has been calling for a halt to the renewable rollout . He says the countryside " is saturated".

" As Australia’s rapid renewable energy rollout continues, so too does debate over land use. Nationals Leader David Littleproud, for example, claimed regional areas had reached “saturation point”

The charts l post clearly show how renewables are pushing coal out and making it more uneconomic by the year . A continuation of the renewable rollout means that there would simply be no space for nuclear in the future.

There's a reason why the COALition won't publish the numbers . They simply don't stack up as l have just demonstrated. l have repeated asked the hc nuclear boosters to post the numbers . None ever have . For the same reason.

What really bugs me about this is the barefaced lies that the COALition are telling.

We all expect politicians to be " creative with the facts ". All of them do it, regardless of brand .

But this is really next level.

Political parties have access to information that the rest of us can only dream of . The COALition would know exactly how much nuclear costs and the issues associated with it. And yet they stand there and blatantly lie about it being the best solution for the Australian people .

l really hope this issue guts the COALition and gets rid of these liars so that the Liberal Party can reinvent itself and become the party it should be .
