One thing that would support my purchase on EVs is easily replaceable batteries and enforced LT manufacturer supports (software updates). The battery and software factors are the only thing I hate about recent consumer electronics - the fact that I cannot easily replace a failing battery and that my powerful tablet/phone etc becomes redundant due software support. So many people replace their phone/tablet etc just because the battery is stuffed right? That's my main reason anyway.
