I mentioned this morning that something like 7 of the last 8 assay announcements have had a higher opening than a sell off that lasted anything from a day to a week or more. All of them were reversed and the stock went to higher highs.

The actual assays are nothing short of outstanding, continuing to add certainty to grade and resource size.

@chuss .. If someone told you that we had 500k shorts covered today, they were BSing you as no-one knows just yet. Shares are loaned to be shorted, so unless the person you spoke to had the shares returned to tham or their organisation, it's just BS.

We will know tomorrow morning with the new short positions numbers from ASX. My suspicion is that shorts have increased by a lot today, we'll have to wait and see.

The game plan is to panic holders into selling, which is very hard in a tightly held stock. Everyone wants to buy cheap, so if I was a large insto wanting in, I'd let the shorters take it down for me!!
Rumours on zero evidence, is another trick often employed, at the same time as the short attack of course.

I still maintain that psychologically it's best to look to buy some more shares at a cheap price, even if it's just a few hundred and you already have thousands. It puts you in the frame of mind of wanting the SP to go down a bit more to fill your new buy order, 'hoping for the retracement'.
I plan to buy more at the $17-18 mark, depending on action, just a few hundred.

IF today's sell off was a lot of new shorts, I'll probably buy earlier, as everyone in the market can see that as well, knowing they will have competition to buy when the next round of buying begins...

Of course it could be the end of the world, and the price and need for niobium could go to zero, but I suspect we are not quite there yet, and it wouldn't matter where your money was anyway....
