I have been looking at the historical shareprice, and cannot correlate the reasoning behind the share price with regards respective MEO announcements during Zues spud. Perhaps my data is incorrect.
Handover Date: 8/01/2009
Share Price: MEO,090108,18,18.5,17,18.5,1143246
Further progress reports do not seem to affect the SP significantly.
Abandon Date: 13/02/2009
Share Price: MEO,090213,9,9,8.3,8.6,8165489
Where was the Pre-Spud run up? SP languished around MEO,080919,22.5,23.5,20,20,4309676 up until SV handover date.
Furthermore there was no significant movement during drill and prior to Abandonment announcement.
If my figures are incorrect please correct me.
Logic would assume that at least during the drill the shareprice should have reflected some sort of correlation to the Risked Price.
I hope this will be the case for the Artemis Spud lead up as its about time the shareprice reflected the asset value of this company. Obviously we are in a post Global Meltdown which would have impacted on the Zues 1 spud.
