I think the 40mt is more about the downstream processing operation, of which i think there are two phases. The 40mt is about justifying the capex of the stage, in my understanding. So i think you could still mine at <40mt especially if it is low cost, but the ultimate downstream product is highest value obviously. He seems to be confident they have plenty of prospects to add tonnes. I know there are others separate of RNU that have similar resources in the same area, maybe they could share the capex on the downstream. But ultimately that's going to be a demand driven thing. Sounds like the announcement of the Lacroma central resource estimate is due in a few weeks.
