mmm - there’s over a billion curry connoisseurs - most very well educated and unemployed in India- China wanting to move to a “ middle class “ society won’t be able to compete with them in a lot of mundane industries initially and a lot of technical industry in the future as the Indian economy grows off the back of the mundane ( easy pickings) industries
Hence why China is trying to move their economy to a consumer market economy
Chinas response until then is massive subsidies and market control - I think we have all witnessed this, particularly to a smaller extent in the lithium market and spot pricing etc
