Well the statement that the induration is patchy seems to contradict the zones clearly seen in the photos, and looking at those samples - they look bloody hard - especially the ironstone one - crushing only i would think and then finally the worst case is the induration layers transect the higher grade material and even more % is lost.

Itdoes beg the question in the DFS whether they really took the induration seriously as a threat to their whole operation or dealt with it in a manner which took in too many assumptions.

RC drilling would have masked the potential induration problem a bit, Core drilling would have shown it up nicely, with some work indexes could be applied and whether a dozer was going to do the trick???

easy in hindsight i know but just little things like "patchy" if wrong can really bite
