Also, iirc, wasn’t it GS that was pushing the forecast of huge supply increases coming out of Chile, back in circa 2018…? The so-called “tsunami of supply” that never eventuated? Iirc that was the basis of their first doomsday prediction, and although the outcome they predicted wrt supply-demand balance was somewhat “correct”, their reasoning and analysis was fundamentally flawed.
…something about broken clocks..?
Plus I don’t trust those “big dogs” when it comes to market commentary headlines - I want to see the detail and the reasoning and will assess for myself!
The conflicts and vested interests are simply huge.
