Yesterday Canberra,NYSE HII mission tech division announced appointment of Tim Brown as VP of operations and Terry Nichols as MD for the HII business areas in Australia.HII Australia

imo this would explain the spike yesterday.
HII owns NNS ,NNS as posted has designed and built 70% of the US navy from aircraft carriers to submarines.
When I join the dots I expect the new UK and Australian AUKUS sub will be similar to the US sea wolf ,a much larger,faster superior attack submarine to the Virginia class but to expensive for the US to build in volume.

Since Australia and the UK build submarines at a snails pace the UK one every 3 to 4 years my 2 cents ,it makes some sense and with HII involvement made possible imo only.


So what will the bis SP do on receipt of first submarine contract.?
