if anyone wishes to summarise russias approach to this war after the first month it's simply either "BLUNT INSTRUMENT" ...."QUANTITY OVER QUALITY" or just plain "DESTRUCTION"
quantity of men available , tanks and artillery pieces , shells , planes , missiles .....virtually EVERYTHING !
Shahed drones and gliding bombs * are arguably the russ best weapons - both deliver a lot of destruction over a long distance cheaply (the latter quite inaccurartely but considering the size of the charge often not critical )
this is the russ method ......they don't capture towns and cities .....THEY DESTROY THEM ! They don't fight Ukrainians where they can avoid it ...... destroying them instead .
nothing sophisticated about the russian approach - and has had very mixed success
the supporters here get very euphoric about russ advances - that really only happened through US aid being stopped and "shell hunger" but in context , those gains were very small
*marks for innovation there for the adding of fins !
