Yes, and Closer still, let’s not to forget the hold China is developing in Oceania on our doorstep. The previous Solomon Island Prime Minister was handing out Chinese facilitation money to cabinet members to buy further political support for China’s emerging economic interest in that Jursidiction. Good to see pacific nations back peddling these accommodations as they realise that the Chinese are making unscrupulous bed fellows.
